TUNNEL RATS (2008)
Uwe Boll (Postal)
There are war movies, and there are horror movies. This is both. Yet, there is no Predator creature jumping around, no crazy virus and no hallucinations. The war is scary enough itself. There's no patriotic propaganda here, neither is there any political anti-war message, the movie just shows us how scary life as a soldier could be. This is the kind of fear which is felt by real people, every day

CORPSE MANIA (1981)
Chih-Hung Kwei (Killer Snakes, Bewitched, Boxers Omen)
A ‘different’ kind of Hong Kong horror this one – rather like a gory Italian giallo. It has plenty of atmosphere and some necrophilia too. A hidden gem awaiting rediscovery

Any fan of Meet the Feebles, Team America and anything horror, especially zombie related, should definitely get a kick out of this. It involves a young, under-appreciated son of a big brawling father. When Zombies come from the west, the son is finally given an opportunity to show his non-believers that he's no weak-pisser. This was a really cool little short that had gore, some good humor and lots of fantastic puppetry & chainsaws
